X3 at Queenscliff

To arrive at the Queenscliff station in Victoria at first glance is like going back in time back to the days of the Tasmanian Government Railways. Apart from the colour of a few carriages, this is vintage TGR. Photos taken 30th November 2000.

X20 at Queenscliff

X20 is the other X class at this site.

VA1 at Queenscliff

Shunting loco VA1 is in the later TGR livery.

V8 at Queenscliff

V8 is parked in front of ex TGR steam loco M6. On the right is a DP railcar.

M6 at Queenscliff

M6 was undergoing some sort of repair or inspection, as the dome cover was off.

DB16 at Queenscliff

The paint on this guards van is very different to its original.

X3 at Queenscliff

Some non standard horns on the B end of X3 would be far better than the standard cab mounted horn when running long end first.
