2 Oct 1997. On the footplate of Dubs No. 8 during EBR Centenary celebrations. This scene is from our video "Centenary", and was taken on the footplate as the train was heading from Rosebery to Boco siding with a special run for schoolchildren, a very similar trip to the Boco run 9 years earlier, shown below.

Boco siding

Boco siding, Sunday April 17, 1988. With flags flying, CCS23 and MA2 are arriving with one of the "Bicentenary Specials" from Rosebery, the first steam trains on the Emu Bay Railway in 24 years.

ZCs on the EBR

Boco siding,1999. Two ZC locos hauling a log train originating at Rosebery. This is an example of the changes that came to the EBR under Tasrail ownership. Until then the line was the exclusive domain of the 10 and 11 class diesel - hydraulics, and diesel - electrics with 3 axle bogies were thought to be unsuitable. However there has been no problems with them on the line.
