The Don River Railway ran a steam hauled special to Burnie, August 21 2005.
It was a wet and rainy day but the train ran ahead of time! Also a quick look at the Leven River bridge.

The Don River Railway celebrated its 25th anniversary in November 2001. Following are a few photos taken on August 19 2001.

H5 has recently been repainted
The only 830 Alco left in the state, 866 has been restored at Don. Taken out of service after a collision with a truck in Hobart 866 now looks as good as new.
Grant Hyland has been the man in charge and the chief worker during the restoration.
