The Don River Railway ran a steam hauled special to Burnie, August 21 2005. It was a wet and rainy day but the train ran ahead of time! Also a quick look at the Leven River bridge.

The Don River Railway celebrated its 25th anniversary in November 2001. Following are a few photos taken on August 19 2001.

The only 830 Alco left in the state, 866 has been restored at Don. Taken out of service after a collision with a truck in Hobart 866 now looks as good as new.
