The Tasmanian flag is reflecting the Pijlgracht's lifeboat
View from the observers side.
The view that the driver will have.
Close up of instruments etc.
The rear cab wall. There is a wardrobe sized gap between the doors at the rear of the
cab and the doors to the electrical cabinet.
No doubt this is intended to reduce the noise that has been a problem with
the DQ class.
The fuel tank gauge indicates a capacity of 7000 litres.
A glance at the bogies shows why these locos will not be operating
for a month or two yet. There are no traction motors fitted, Tasrail will fit motors from
disused ZB class English Electrics.
