BURNIE SHUNTER RETURNS

JUNE 24 2003

After being away for repair for almost 12 months, 2150 arrived back in Burnie today and was soon back at work at the tippler.

1505pm, 24 June 2003.

2150 has just been started and is awaiting a late running train 72 from Rosebery

The old headlight has been removed and replaced with this twin assembly

The new paint also extends around the right side of the loco, back to the first panel. There have also been repairs to the louvers towards the back end, also on the other side.

At last, at 1528, Train 72 arrives with 2008, 2056 and 2001 leading 18 X wagons. The train was held up with brake problems.
