Part 1, down by the old station

18 October 2002. Don River train for Primrose with MA2 and Y6 passing through the yard.

22 Nov 2002, the logs have just come off a mixed train 72 which hauled several log wagons from Rosebery with the X wagons of concentrates from Primrose, and along with the coal wagons, are about to be attached to the rear of train 35. The log trains then ran as stand alone trains until early January but have since ceased.

18 December 2002. 2126 & 2128 arriving back in the yard after hauling train 69. The logs were left near West Park.

11 January 2003.

The Burnie Rail railcars are being used for a wedding charter today, picking up guests at Somerset for a trip to the Tasrail Burnie station.

Driver Les looked resplendent in shirt and tie, and here was helping with the washing. Could this start a new trend? of drivers washing their engines?

A washed 2021, although I would not want these operators to wash my car. Plenty has been missed, such as the area above the side windows. The DQ spliced between the two D class was not in the washing contract.

DV1 away from its normal home, probably to lead a repaired 2005 back to Devonport. 2005 broke down on Monday night 17th March.
